Royal Mail have today increased their postal rates and so we have updated ours too. There is a minimal increase across most rates, although some have actually gone down. We have also decided to, once again, try sending items to South Africa using Royal Mail Airmail.

The hosts of our website have introduced a few new features which will improve your experience of www.hobb-e-mail.com. Some of these will be tested by us and used if we feel they are an improvement.

One that is definitely an improvement is that you can now set your own password, by logging in, going to My Account and clicking on My Details. At the bottom of your details is a password box - type something you can remember and Save. If you do have difficulty remembering your password, do not hesitate to contact us and we can let you know your current settings.

As we add new products, we can now enter RRP information. For goods purchased from overseas, this price will be calculated using the exchange rate at the time we add the product to the site. We will NOT adjust this figure in line with exchange rate fluctuations.

We have now CLOSED our dedicated Roco site www.rocouk.com. All in-stock Roco products are now shown on this site. If you are looking for products we do not have in stock, please visit www.roco.cc and check availability. Any items that are shown as available on Roco's site can be ordered in, as before, with a lead time of approx. 10 days.

Deposits for special orders may be required - please read the section below regarding the Instalment Plan for how to use this category.

We have introduced a new category. The Instalment Plan category allows you to make payments to us for pre-orders, deposits and as a lay-away scheme.

Add the required amount(s) to the shopping cart and when on the Checkout page, enter the item(s) you are making a payment towards. You can use this for any item, whether coming soon (or not so soon), or in stock.

Please note however, that once a payment is made towards an item, it can NOT be refunded unless the item is discontinued or cancelled by the manufacturer. We will not provide a refund should a new release item be delayed.
